Surviving Childhood as an Adult
I was reading a story about Karen Carpenter. To this day she remains the poster child for anorexia/bulimia. This article delved into some of what was going on in her life that led to her death at the age of 32.
As sad as it was, it led me to thinking about parent’s who prefer one child over another, or simply don’t like that child at all — sometimes to the point where the child simply gives up.
