Shall We Marry?

When my husband I got married, we decided to embrace the customs of the world.

During the ceremony we jumped over a sword, smashed a glass, and gave my daughter a (stuffed) cow as payment for my hand.

At dinner, I placed a card with traditions from around the world under each plate, and the guests took turns reading these — much to the amusement of everyone present.
